বর্তমানে শুরু হয়েছে কিং ফাহাদ ইউনিভার্সিটি অফ পেট্রোলিয়াম এন্ড মিলারেলস স্কলারশিপ ২০২৫। সৌদি আরবের মধ্যে সবথেকে টপ ক্লাস ইউনিভার্সিটি হচ্ছে এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে। এই স্কলারশিপকে বর্তমানে সংক্ষেপে KFUPM Scholarship ও বলা হয়ে থাকে।

বর্তমানে এই স্কলারশিপ মাস্টার্স ও পিএইচডি তে দুই ধরনের স্কলারশিপ অফার করছে।

Admission  Requirement – ভর্তির যোগ্যতাঃ

1. Admission Requirement for Master of Science (Thesis-Based) or Engineering Programs

The minimum requirements for possible admission in Master of Science (Thesis-Based) or Engineering Programs are as below:

• A four-year Bachelor’s (B.S.) Degree in engineering or science from a recognized institution with a major in the proposed field or evidence of suitable background for entering the proposed field.
• A Grade-Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent (For Scholarship Applicants) or 2.50 or higher on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent (For Non-Scholarship Applicants).
• Completion of TOEFL with a minimum score of 520 (PBT), 190 (CBT) or 70 (IBT). IELTS is also acceptable (min 6.0). Duolingo (min 105). Waived for KFUPM graduates and Graduates from English Speaking Countries (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand).
• Two letters of recommendation, preferably from the faculty who taught the applicant university-level courses. [to be submitted through the online recommendation system]
• Satisfactorily meeting any additional departmental or university admission requirements.

Note: Satisfying the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission into the program as final admission is subject to an evaluation of the whole application, and the capacity of individual programs.

2. Admission Requirement for MS Programs in Business Administration

The minimum requirements for possible admission as a regular graduate student in a Master program in Business Administration are as follows:

• A four-year Bachelor’s (B.A., B.S., B.Sc. or B.E.) degree in business, engineering, or science fields from a recognized (accredited) institution/university.
• A GPA not less than 2.5 out of 4.00 or equivalent.
• GMAT or GRE are optional, but satisfactory GMAT or GRE scores are used to support applicants’ files.
• TOEFL with a minimum score of 520 (PBT), 190 (CBT) or 69 (IBT) or IELTS: with a minimum score of 6.0.
• Three recommendation letters.
• At least one course in college level calculus, which covers both differentiation and integration subjects, and at least one course in college level statistics.
• A working knowledge of computers as evidenced by at least one course in that area (e.g., data processing, programming, information systems, etc.)
• A one-page statement of purpose.
• At least three years’ work experience.

3. Admission Requirement for Master of Science (Project-Based)

The minimum requirements for possible admission in Master of Science (Project-Based) are as below:

• A recognized Bachelor’s degree.
• GPA of 2.5+ out of 4.0 or equivalent.
• IELTS score of 6+ or TOEFL score of 70+ or Duolingo score of 105+. (waived for KFUPM graduates and Graduates from English Speaking Countries (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand)
• Two recommendation letters.
• Non-refundable processing fee of SAR 100 + VAT.
• Statement-of-Purpose (a one-page essay focusing on career and research goals)

4. Admission Requirement for PhD Programs

The minimum requirements for possible admission to the Ph.D. Programs as a regular graduate student in engineering or sciences are as follows:

• An M.S. degree in engineering or science from an institution whose graduate programs are equivalent to those of (KFUPM), with a major in the proposed field or evidence of suitable background for entering the proposed field.
• A minimum GPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent in both the B.S. and M.S. degrees. Official transcripts and degree certificates are required for admission.
• Completion of TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT) or 80 (IBT). IELTS is also acceptable [min 6.5]. Duolingo (min 120). Waived for KFUPM graduates and Graduates from English Speaking Countries (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand).
• Two letters of recommendation, preferably from the faculty who taught the applicant graduate courses.
• Satisfactorily meeting any additional departmental or university admission requirements.

5. Admission Requirement for PhD – Direct Entry

We recommend all Bachelor holders (4 years BSc) to apply for PhD directly. This attractive option is open to all locals and internationals. It is a fast entry to the world of research, and it takes four to five years to finish PhD.

• A minimum GPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent in the B.S. degree. Official transcripts and degree certificates are required for admission.
• Completion of TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT) or 80 (IBT). IELTS is also acceptable [min 6.5]. Duolingo (min 120). Waived for KFUPM graduates and Graduates from English Speaking Countries (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand). The TOEFL score must be sent directly to the College of Graduate Studies. The KFUPM code is 0868.
